Building the Dream

Thanks to the generous support of our Sacred Heart community, our dream of the Parish Center will become a reality with the dedication on June 21, 2009. 

The Parish Center allows us to continue with our mission of building God’s kingdom as we are better able to serve our Parishoners, as well as, our neighbors, who are not yet Parishoners, by opening our doors and hearts to all of the wonderful new features provided by the Parish Center.

With the addition of the big, beautiful new gym, we will have space for athletic activities for both adults and children including basketball and volleyball games.  Our community will be able to enjoy the adult only features of the walking track, which surrounds our gym on the second level, in addition to, the glorious adult exercise room, located off of the track.  The Parish Center will also provide us with much needed adult meeting space, through a separate entrance.  Additionally, our Parishoners and Parish organizations will benefit from full-time use of the existing kitchen and meeting spaces in the Church Hall.

Our school will be benefit with a much needed addition including new school offices, a new preschool room, new music room, new teacher’s meeting room, new kitchen and cafeteria, as well as, create space in the existing building for a full time art room and library!  This new space will allow our students to have all school activities under one roof!
