In order to protect the safety of all children, the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has mandated compliance with the Protecting God's Children Program by all employees and volunteers who work with children in any way. Therefore, if you have any contact with children at Sacred Heart Parish whether it be through the school or any organization, you must comply with this Program. There are FIVE requirements in order to be in FULL compliance with the USCCB Protecting God's Children Program.
1. Complete New Background Check
You will complete this when you register through PreventandProtectSTL.org.2. Complete Protecting God's Children Workshop
Attendance at a live Workshop is required. Workshops are presented throughout the Archdiocese several times each month at various Parishes and other locations. Register at Prevent and Protect STL for a specific location, date, and time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork.
3. Complete Mandated Reporter Training
You will complete this when you register through PreventandProtectSTL.org.4. Complete Code of Conduct Training

5. Sign online Code of Conduct

Victims of sexual abuse, in addition to contacting civil authorities, are asked to come forward in order to receive pastoral assistance. Reports of abuse may be made to any Pastor or to:
