There are seven sacraments in the Roman Catholic Church.
The Seven Sacraments can be drawn together in three categories:
Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist)
Sacraments of Healing (Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick)
Sacraments of Vocation (Marriage and Holy Orders)
SUNDAY LITURGIES
Mass is celebrated every weekend at 5 p.m. on Saturday; and at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Our liturgies try to accommodate different preferences in styles of worship. All Masses have an organ or instrumental music and singing led by a cantor/choir.
In addition, all Masses have both boys and girls assisting at the altar. Lay readers (Lectors) proclaim the Word of God at all the Masses and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of communion. Anyone interested in becoming a Lector or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion should call the Parish Office or speak to one of the priests or deacons.
WEEKDAY LITURGIES
Masses are celebrated daily at 6:30 a.m. (except on Saturday) and 8 a.m. During the school year the children plan and participate in some of these weekly celebrations.
