“It is a Catholic lay organization, leading women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering.”
Vincentian volunteers encounter their fellow human being during a Home Visit with the neighbor. Vincentians develop real friendships with those in need, listening to their concerns and offering to pray together. We then bring financial resources to neighbors in need through assistance with rent, food, clothing, and other emergency needs when they have nowhere else to turn to for help. We believe everyone deserves a fair chance at a bright future, regardless of income or life circumstances.
Scripture tells us that we will be judged, as a society and as an individual, by how we cared for the poor, the vulnerable, the orphans, the elderly, or those in need of spiritual or physical aid. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is committed to this mission. Your donation matters! The neighbors we help and the members of our Sacred Heart St. Vincent de Paul Conference thank you and will remember you in our prayers.
“No work of charity is foreign to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul”
