Walking Track & Gym Facilities
In the Sacred Heart Parish Center, you will find a fully outfitted workout room
on the upper level. This room is available to adult parishioners (18 and over)
with access utilizing an electronic key card. In addition to the workout room,
there is a walking track that overlooks the gymnasium. 14 laps around the track equals one mile.Access to the fitness center and walking track is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day WITH SUSPENDED ACCESS when Sacred Heart School is in session: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. On these weekdays, the gymnasium doors leading into the school will lock promptly at 9:00 am, allowing the school to operate safely. Following the dismissal of students at 3:30 pm, the access doors will be unlocked and access to the track and gym will resume.On weekdays when Sacred Heart School is not in scheduled session (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter break and Christmas break), parishioners will have access to the facilities. Please check our parish calendar for those scheduled dates.
To apply for the key card, complete the form available here and return
it to the Parish Office with the required fee. Please note: if your access card has been deactivated, please bring that card into the office when applying for a new one.Walking Track Access Policies:
1. Only Sacred Heart parishioners can obtain a key card.
2. Parishioners may not bring in guests, will not allow anyone else to use their key card, and must notify the parish office immediately if it is lost or stolen.
3. Parishioners are not allowed to prop any doors open in the facility.
4. Parishioner agrees to adhere to all Sacred Heart policies regarding appropriate attire, behavior, sanitation, and care of track and gym.
5. Use of personal devices to broadcast loud music is prohibited when sharing the facility with other members. Parishioners agree to be respectful of others regarding music, language, and use of equipment.
9. Parishioner accepts full responsibility for all personal property brought onto the premises or into the facility.
ZERO TOLERANCE: Any photos or videos taken of others while using the walking track and gym is strictly prohibited. Sacred Heart reserves the right to terminate any key card privileges immediately.
